We’re delighted to announce that the Workbooks Mobile Client is now available for customer use.
The Mobile Client is specifically designed for smartphones and tablets. Using the client you can access a wide range of Workbooks records: People and Organisations, Leads and Opportunities, Tasks, Meetings and Cases. You can search the entire system, create, modify, view and delete items. Most usefully for when you’re on the road it integrates with your phone to make calls and send emails; you can also copy appointments to your device.
Right now it works best with recent Android and Blackberry devices and especially the Apple iPhone and iPad.
It’s still under active development so technically it’s ‘in Beta’ as we want to add more features to it. We welcome suggestions to prioritise what we should add: please add new ideas to this forum and vote on them.
To use it, just visit the Workbooks… more

The spell-checker functionality was recently introduced in the Spring 2011 upgrade.
Please take a few moments to reallocate your votes to other ideas.
Note: You may need to right-click when attempting to use the spell-checker within text editor fields (those with a text editor toolbar – bold, italic etc.) in Workbooks.

@Don
Don't like to carp but it's not just semi-major things like a mobile device UI that seem to be a long time in the making. It's fixes for errors and mistakes too that take longer to address than seems appropriate.
The removal of spellchecker access from the right click context menu and the missing hyperlinks on Organisation names in the Activities list are two instances I'd cite. And having spent all day trying to organise my emails yesterday via my dropbox, I'd add not showing the relevant Organisation, Opportunity, People etc Reference alongside the narrative name as another omission that could do with speedy attention. It's a real pita having to go to Additional Information all the time to get it.
These are not major issues but they, and other problems like them, cause major annoyance and waste a lot of time getting round them.
